Medical Thermography Full Body Scan PDF  | Print |  E-mail

This is a full body examination of a male patient.  The full body scan consists of several images pieced together to show a full body image.

Thermal imaging examinations require trained professional thermographers to administer the scans.  To ensure accuracy, a preliminary set of medical infrared imaging protocols has been established and used successfully by Dr. William Cockburn.  After taking the thermal images, a trained doctor will review the images and note any anomalities shown by the thermal imaging cameras.  After several years of thermal body scans, comparisons can be made to previous scans to ensure that no new anomalies are present.

This thermal body scan is comprised of 8 seperate images.  As a result slight color variations may occur in the images.  With most thermal imaging scans, the doctor is looking for abnormal heat patterns or differences in heat between the symmetry of the body.  Medical Thermal Imaging can help locate various diseases, stress on muscles, etc., among other health conditions.  Thermal imaging is only able to look at the surface of the skin, meaning that it should not be considered the only means of imaging for disease and other health problems.  Used in conjuction with other imaging devices already established in the medical field, thermal imaging can be a great aide and help spot certain abnormalities years before traditional imaging techniques currently in use.
