Every woman on the planet worries about getting breast cancer.  Until recently women and physicians alike have looked to the mammogram to detect cancerous tissue.  Mammography is a painful procedure for a woman to endure in order to find possible cancerous tissue.  A woman’s breast must be temporarily pressed between two metal plates for the examination.  This is a necessary albeit uncomfortable procedure for women.  Now, however, every woman can look forward to a new, non-invasive procedure that will complement the current use of mammography for early cancer detection.  The ICI 7320 P series camera gathers infrared energy, emitted by the human body, to detect temperature changes on the surface of the skin.  Increased blood flow and growing cancerous tissue produces more heat than non-cancerous tissue making areas of concern evident to the physician as the ICI 7320 P series has the ability to see heat and measure temperature to one hundredth of a degree.

Blood flow could be impacted by sedation, however I believe it would not affect the outcome of the exam with our camera because of our medical cameras sensitivity of .027 C $11,995. This sensitivity approaches the sensitivity of cooled cameras like our Mirage

I foresee a need to research and develop the IR Cameras with a higher capability to perceive finite temperature gradiants over the skin of the effected areas. My comment has to do with obtaining the percise location of the diseased organ.
Would it be possible that sedating a patient would minimize blood circulation in the diseased organ thus to ensue the effected organ's biochemical thermal reaction to produce a higher thermal differential in the effected areas, thus to improve detecting and a more percise location of the diseased tissue?
